Biografija

Slađana Petronić rođena u Sarajevu 1957. godine. Diplomirala na Prirodno-matematičkom fakultetu, Odsjek za biologiju, Univerzitet u Sarajevu 1981. iz oblasti ekologije biljaka i životinja, zaštite životne sredine i ekologija ekosistema. U periodu od 1984 – 1996 u Fabrici motora Sarajevo radila u odjelu za Zaštitu životne sredine. Na Prirodno-matematičkom fakultetu, Univerziteta u Sarajevu 2000 uspješno odbranila magistarsku tezu a 2006 godine i doktorsku disertaciju iz oblasti ekologije biljne zajednice na Prirodno-matematičkom fakultetu, Odsjek za biologiju, Univerziteta u Banja Luci. U periodu od 1997-2012 bila Šef bioloških i tehničkih poslova u Republičkom zavodu za zaštitu kulturno-istorijskog i prirodnog naslijeđa Republike Srpske u odjelu za istraživanje i zaštitu flore, vegetacije i raznolikosti faune. Od 1997 zaposlena na Poljoprivrednom fakultetu na predmetu Biologija. Ima 30 godina iskustva u obrazovanju i istraživanju raznolikosti i zaštite prirodne baštine. Tokom dugogodišnjeg rada specijalizirala se za istraživanje raznolikosti flore i vegetacije i njihovu zaštitu. Član stručnog tima za prirodno naslijeđe u Bosni i Hercegovini u radu Odbora za svjetsku baštinu (UNESCO).
